Shipping Policy
How RUDYI OLEKSANDR executes shipments, and what to expect before, during and after transportation of your cargo.
1. Scope of shipments
RUDYI OLEKSANDR organizes cargo transportation by road, sea, air and rail, as well as warehousing, customs clearance and related services. Each shipment is confirmed in writing with a fixed price and agreed scope before transportation begins.
2. Getting a quote
To receive a quote, provide: the type of cargo, weight, dimensions and quantity (pallets, boxes, containers), the origin and destination, and preferred dates. Quotes are free, fixed and itemized. Final confirmation of the shipment, price and transit time is made in writing.
3. Packing requirements
You are responsible for ensuring the cargo is adequately packed for the selected mode of transport:
- Pallets must be stable, sound and handled by standard forklift equipment;
- Fragile and liquid goods must be clearly labeled and sufficiently protected;
- Weight and dimensions must be declared accurately;
- Containers must be loaded within their safe weight limits.
We can arrange professional packing and palletization on request.
4. Documentation
You must provide the documents necessary for transportation and customs clearance in good time — including commercial invoices, packing lists, permits and certificates, as applicable. Our team assists in preparing and verifying documents so border crossings proceed smoothly.
5. Customs clearance
Customs clearance can be arranged as an additional service. Duties, taxes and any fines arising from incorrect declarations or prohibited goods are the responsibility of the shipper/consignee, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Tracking
Your dedicated coordinator provides milestone updates by e-mail. Where GPS tracking is available on the equipment, we share live tracking links. Availability depends on the carrier and transport mode.
7. Transit times
Transit times quoted at booking are estimates based on normal conditions. Actual times may vary due to weather, border queues, port schedules, security checks or force majeure. We inform you promptly of significant delays and propose alternatives where possible.
8. Delivery
Delivery is made to the address confirmed in the shipment contract. The consignee or an authorized representative should be available at the agreed time. For consignee-unavailable or redelivery situations, reasonable storage and redelivery costs may apply.
9. Prohibited and restricted goods
We do not transport goods that are illegal under the law of any country involved in the shipment. Dangerous goods, chemicals and other restricted items are transported only with prior written agreement and correct documentation, in line with ADR, IMDG, IATA and national rules.
10. Claims and damage
If cargo is damaged or missing upon delivery, inspect it on arrival and note any issues on the delivery documents. Submit a written claim to ujesunopive47@gmail.com as soon as possible, and no later than the periods set by the applicable transport convention (typically 7 days for visible damage and 14 days for missing cargo under CMR).
11. Insurance
Cargo insurance is not included automatically. We recommend insurance for valuable shipments and can arrange it through partner insurers on request. Our liability is subject to the limits of the applicable transport conventions described in our Terms of Service.
12. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control — including war, hostilities, sanctions, border closures, strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, port congestion or government restrictions. We keep you informed and refund unused prepayments where applicable.
